Announcing Carl Hietala’s retirement from Electro-Mechanical Industries, Inc

A MESSAGE FROM EMI:

We are pleased to announce Carl Hietala’s retirement from Electro-Mechanical Industries, Inc. on June 5th after 42 years of dedicated service!

Carl began his career in Production at EMI in 1982 as a painter.  A few years later, Carl moved to the office to assist in purchasing, building relationships with our vendors and order management. Throughout his career, Carl has worn many shoes, but is widely recognized for his extensive product knowledge, daily leadership, dedication in the office and a valued member of management team.

Carl’s contributions have made a significant impact on EMI and our EMI family. Carl has shared his expansive knowledge with many throughout his career. We value Carl’s hard work, commitment, integrity, and dedication for the past four decades.  He will be greatly missed.

Thank you, Carl!

A FAREWELL FROM CARL:

It is amazing to think about how much EMI has grown and changed through the years. I have had the privilege of working with great people both within the company and outside of the company. I want to thank the Shaffer family; Marlow, Janice, and Michelle for valuing me as an employee and trusting me to make decisions. I also want to thank all the current staff and I feel good we have talent to continue to grow for the future. Marlow promised me one month of work in 1982 and it turned into a career. Thanks to everyone who has helped me through the years!
